The Alaska chapter of ACLC has been active for decades and is currently under the care of Pastor Eugene Harnett, with substantial development from Donna Avey. Outreach to clergy in Anchorage and Kodiak is ongoing, with some significant growth in inter-clergy relations.
With the return of Masami Kageyama as Assistant Pastor in 2022, primarily focussed on youth activities and campus outreach, Alaska has finally begun to prepare for the establishment of a local chapter of CARP.
The Alaska chapter has locations in Anchorage (Anchorage Garden", Kodiak (Angel Garden) and formerly in Eagle River and an international training center in Chiniak.
This new branding absorbs all other organizations of the movement, forming the global umbrella organization.
The Alaska chapter of WFWP has been active for decades and is now under the care of Senior Pastor Donna Avey.
The National Ocean Challenge Program was developed to raise young people's awareness of how best to manage the ocean's natural resources to ensure a sustainable future for the world, while helping them grow spiritually through taking on and exceeding the challenges of working together in the rugged North Pacific environment, instilling in them a deep sense of love for nature and a passionate determination and willpower to overcome any obstacles life presents them.
Established 2003, Mr. Kazushi Seto was helping Rev. Joo who was learning to maintain the boats. Old Powerhouse was used as a boat yard. 2004, Mr. Takahashi, Mr. Seto was asked to become Kodiak Ocean Church director 2004-2006. This local chapter of Ocean Tribe was developed on the basis of the National Ocean Challenge Program and has grown to encompass NOCP and has begun establishing NOCP programs in other port cities around the shores of North America, with the initial goal of making twelve Ocean Tribe centers around the country.
