This convenient and oft-visited fishing spot on Kodiak Island was frequented by True Parents when ocean fishing was not practical.
Beautiful imagery and testimonies of many who joined Ocean Challenge and other ocean training activities in Kodiak.
Many sisters shared quality time with True Mother, collecting sea urchins, gathering at a rural lodge or angling for salmon on the rivers of Kodiak island.

Kodiak Centers
Testimonies of gatherings at True Parents' earliest residence in Kodiak.
This property served both as True Family's local residence and a training center and conference center and continues to provide lodging for National Ocean Church Program, training youth and young adults in boating and fishing activities and for visitors.
Initially constructed as a day care center and chapel, Angel Garden is also serving in support of NOCP activities and youth activities.
All about the former winery with 5 houses, transformed into an International training workshop site.
Oceanic Training
Building on Rev. Moon's vision for Ocean Church, training young people to love and care for the oceans and to build a strong bond of heart with God in the wild Alaskan environment, the Kodiak Ocean Challenge program revitalized the concept and activities in Kodiak and went national, becoming National Ocean Challenge Program, with participants from across the country and around the globe, and has since come under the umbrella of the Kodiak chapter of Ocean Tribe. Rev. Moon invited 150 professors from across the Republic of Korea to come to Kodiak to learn to fish and receive spiritual training directly from himself. Participants went to sea on the Green Hope and a several Good Go boats to fish for halibut in the Afognak Strait.

Established in Kodiak as first of an originally intended 5-vessel, 5-flag international business group, to own and operate large factory trawlers in the Southern Ocean, to harvest the most abundant marine fauna species, Antarctic Krill, producing human grade food products, targeted for the seafood sector with emphasis on developing a humanitarian aid krill powder product.
